Spending a summer working in an associate program can give MBA graduates a valuable insight into the business world, while also providing worthwhile real world experience - but their ultimate goal should be to secure a job offer. In his blog for the Wall Street Journal, Evan Newmark said that while working in an associate program can give graduates a taste of a particular firm or sector's culture, they can be extremely difficult to secure and therefore maximum effort should be placed on securing an offer of a permanent position at the end of it. "Always work hard, be humble, be helpful and be happy," Mr Newmark said. According to MBA Courses, US business schools are widely considered the world leaders in MBA courses, with qualifications from these institutions proving the most valuable in terms of career advancement and salary. The US also offers one of the most diverse ranges of MBAs, it added, with 339 programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business currently on offer. |
